Terms of use

Accepting the terms

These terms govern your use of SQuizGame (the squizgame.net website and its app). Signing up or using the service means you accept these terms and the game rules.

Your account

• Each person has one account, created with their own mobile number.
• You must be at least 18 to use the paid features (purchases, stakes, withdrawals and cash prizes).
• You are responsible for your phone and sign-in codes, and for everything done with your account.
• Your display name must not be offensive or impersonate someone else.

Coins and purchases

• Coins are an in-game unit and are spent, won or withdrawn only as the game rules allow.
• Coin package prices are shown before purchase, and the server sets the coins and the amount of every purchase from that price list.
• Coin purchases are not refundable, except where the store (such as Cafe Bazaar) reverses a purchase. If the store reverses a purchase, its coins are removed from the account.
• Diamonds are an in-game unit too. They can be bought with coins but are never turned back into coins or withdrawn, and buying them is not refundable.

Prizes and withdrawals

• Withdrawals are paid only to a bank account in the account holder's own name and are reviewed before payment.
• Coins bought through Cafe Bazaar cannot be withdrawn for 24 hours after the purchase.
• A season's cash prize is paid only to the champion, under that season's published rules.
• Prizes or coins gained through cheating or a system error are taken back.

Fair play

The following are forbidden:

• using bots, scripts or any automated tool;
• owning or using more than one account;
• colluding with other players or losing on purpose to move coins or points;
• exploiting system errors.

Breaking these rules can lead to the account being restricted or closed, and to the points, coins and prizes gained by it being cancelled.

Seasons

Each season's rules (dates, capacities, limits and the prize) are fixed before publishing, shown on the season page, and do not change afterwards. If a season is cancelled, this is announced on the same page.

Chat and conduct

Insults, threats, indecent content, advertising and sharing other people's personal information are forbidden in room chats and messages. Inappropriate messages may be removed and the sender's account restricted.

Availability

We aim to keep the service available at all times, but it may be interrupted for updates or technical problems. If an outage affects a room or duel, it is handled under the game rules.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated. The date of the last update is shown at the top of this page, and continuing to use the service after a change means accepting the new terms. Changes do not affect a season that has already been published.
